The Busy Bean

WIP Wednesday

It’s been a busy month around here. Apparently, since I haven’t said a word in all that time. Here’s a little of what I’ve been up to:

I finished my Pure quilt.

Got all of my blocks put together and trimmed for my Fenced In quilt

Started a new quilt using a Hello Betty layer cake I’ve had sitting around for a while

Made Easter outfits for my girls

I’ve done some bee blocks, some little projects I can’t think of, and a lot of family stuff. I’ve got some other stuff planned coming up, like a zipper week. Yeah, all kinds of zippers, how to use them, where to put them, and how to have fun with colors. I taught a little class at our local guild meeting, and I realized how much people are scared of them, for no good reason. I promise, they’re not as difficult as you might think. I’m working out some prizes for linking up your projects using zippers.

  3. Love the polka dotted under skirts on your girls’ outfits! Very sweet!

  4. You’ve been busy!! I love everything, especially the your Fenced In blocks so far, they look great 🙂 And your Hello Betty layer cake is making me drool. I’ve got a teeny tiny honey bun in my stash – it was one of my first fabric purchases and I’ve never figured out something awesome to do with it, but now I just want to get it out to stare at it for a while! Cute skirts on the Easter dresses, too 🙂

  5. What cute Easter outfits! I a huge fan of the Pure line of fabrics and your quilt looks fabulous!
